Rachel Chapman is the 4-H& ANR Educator for Summit County with a focus area of urban youth agriculture and natural resources education. She worked for the 4-H program in Medina County for 4 years and has an Environmental Science Degree from Bowling Green State University. She is a member of JCEP, NAE4-HYDP, and NACAA. She offers a variety of programing focused on youth gardening, food literacy, and the environment. Programs are offered at little to no cost for local area schools and other nonprofit organizations in addition, reach out to her by email chapman.894@osu.edu for more information. In addition to community education Rachel partners with fellow extension educators to organize 4-H summer camps, 4-H Project Judgeing, works with master gardener volunteers, 4-H volunteers, and leads digital communications for her office. She is an avid lifelong gardener working to empower others to take an active role in the food system while promoting environemntaly sustainabile practices.
