About Master Gardener Volunteer Program
Ohio State University Extension's Master Gardener Program is a volunteer education and service program. Through the Master Gardener class, volunteers participate in a research-based, practical course to learn effective gardening practices. In turn the Master Gardener Volunteer will assume the role of 'educator' and share this knowledge with the public through staffing pf the Horticultural Hot-line and various other community-based gardening activities and workshops.
